Tonya Scardina, PharmD, BCIDP is the owner of Scardina Medical Writing and Editing LLC.
She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy. She completed her postgraduate training as a pharmacy resident and infectious diseases pharmacotherapy fellow at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Scardina is board-certified as an infectious diseases pharmacist. Dr. Scardina completed the medical writing and editing certificate program at the University of Chicago Graham School. Her main research interests include infectious disease, inpatient and outpatient antimicrobial stewardship. Dr. Scardina has presented at international infectious diseases conferences and has published manuscripts on topics related to antimicrobial stewardship.
